How a tiny ant saved a huge elephant – a story of courage and teamwork
You might think it’s impossible! But in our story today we will get to know an ant named Nunu, who proved to everyone that a small person can do big things if they have determination and self-belief!

There was a little ant named Nunu who lived with her family at the roots of a huge tree. Nunu loved to work hard and gather food every day, and she always said, “I’m small… but I’m strong!”
On the other side of the forest lived a big, kind elephant named Mimo. Mimo loved to play in the water and mud, but he was very slow and heavy, and all the animals thought he was the strongest in the forest.

One hot day, Mimo went out to look for water, but he slipped into a big muddy hole and fell hard! He tried to get out many times, but he couldn’t; the mud stuck to his legs and wouldn’t let him move.
Mimo started crying sadly and said, “Is there anyone here who can help me? I don’t want to be here alone!” But the biggest animals were afraid to go near the hole because it was deep and slippery.

While Nunu was carrying a large grain of wheat on her back, she heard Mimo crying, so she dropped her grain and ran quickly to see what was happening. When she saw the elephant trapped, she was surprised and said, “Mimo the elephant! You need help!”
Memo laughed through his tears and said, “Nunu… you’re so small! How will you help me?” Nunu raised her head and said confidently, “I’ll find a way… don’t give up!”

Nunu went to her little ant friends and said to them, “Memo is in danger! We must help him, no matter how big he is!” They asked her in surprise, “But… we’re ants! What can we do?” She replied enthusiastically, “Together we’ll be stronger!”
Nunu returned with a small army of ants, and they began digging around the hole with great effort. They worked tirelessly because they knew their friend needed them, and they were all filled with courage.

Then the ants began tickling Memo’s feet to make him move them a little. With each step and each small effort, the mud softened and crumbled more, and Memo’s feet slowly began to break free.
Nunu said loudly, “Come on, Memo! Push harder! We’re with you!” So Mimo gathered all his strength… and roared with a mighty voice… then leaped with a powerful bound that finally pulled him out of the hole!

Panting, Mimo collapsed to the ground beside the hole. He looked at Nunu and the army of ants and said, “You saved my life! I never knew ants could do this!” Nunu smiled and said, “Never underestimate anyone, my friend… even the smallest can do great things!”
From that day on, Mimo respected all animals, especially ants, and he helped anyone in need. Meanwhile, Nunu remained the bravest and proudest ant in the forest.
