My friends, did you know that a small animal can be very brave? Let’s read together the story of Mimo, a small mouse with a big heart, who was able to help the big lion in the forest!
There was a little mouse named Mimo who lived in a warm burrow under a tree. He loved to play and jump all day long, and he had a kind heart and always wanted to help everyone.
In the forest, there lived a big lion named Raad. Raad was very strong and always said, “I am the king of the jungle! I am the strongest!” The animals were very afraid of him.
Mimo wasn’t afraid, but he kept away from Raad because the lion didn’t talk to the little ones or smile at anyone. Mimo used to say, “Why can’t the king be kind?”
One day, a wicked hunter came and threw a big net over Raad the lion while he was sleeping. Raad woke up and tried to get out, but he couldn’t.
Raad roared and cried, “Help me! Please!” But the big animals were scared and ran away, and no one came near him.
Mimo heard his voice and thought to himself, “Even though the lion is big, he needs help now.” So, he bravely approached Raad.
Raad said in a sad voice, “Mimo… please help me!” “I’ll help you, Raad! Don’t worry!” said Mimo with a smile.
Mimo quickly began gnawing at the ropes with his tiny teeth. He got a little tired, but he didn’t stop because he wanted to save Raad.
After a short while, the net tore, and the lion was free. Raad stood up, breathing a sigh of relief, and smiled for the first time. “Thank you, Mimo! You’re so brave!” he exclaimed.
“Size doesn’t matter, Raad,” said Mimo. “What matters is that we have kind hearts and help each other.” Raad nodded. “I’ve learned a great lesson today!”
From that day on, Raad loved all animals, cared for the young ones, and protected them. Mimo became a special friend to the king of the jungle.
Everyone would say, “Mimo, the little mouse… saved the big lion!” And Mimo would smile happily because he knew that bravery doesn’t require a big body, but a big heart!
